Client Love: The DOUGLAS Storyteller in Residence Campaign

The DOUGLAS Hotel is brand new to Vancouver, opening in tandem with the massive Parq development downtown. We’ve had the pleasure of welcoming both the DOUGLAS and Parq as 6S clients, overseeing their full social media strategies. Our big idea? The Storyteller in Residence campaign.

Here’s how it works. Starting today, we’re putting a call out for talented creatives to live at the brand new DOUGLAS for the month of November. During their residency, the Storyteller will live, breathe, and (most importantly) document their time at the hotel. They’ll be treated to an itinerary of fabulous meals, exclusive events, and behind the scenes experiences. They’ll also be paid $5,000.00.

Who makes the perfect Storyteller? We’re looking for a modern traveler with a discerning sense of style, that seeks and respects art, design, and the finer things in life. Someone who is well-versed in social media and creating inspiring online content, with a great eye for photography and storytelling to bring others along with you on the journey.

Mitchell Fawcett :Mitchell first got a taste of the world wide web with a Geocities home page in the 90s, and he’s worked in the digital space ever since. The rise of social media created a decisive career path for him, and he worked in house with major brands like Westin Hotels & Resorts as they developed their very first social strategies. Mitchell joined 6S in the spring of 2017 along with the acquisition of his social media agency Motive Communications.
