Earlier this year, we took a closer look into our award-winning corporate culture — one that provides a flexible work environment, plans exciting team-building events, and includes continuous opportunities to learn across the ever-evolving digital marketing landscape. With a few new faces in the 6S Marketing office, we thought it was time for our Culture Club to plan our next team event — one that will take our strategizing skills offline for the afternoon.
On the afternoon of Friday, June 19th, our Vancouver office teamed up to roam the streets of downtown Vancouver during our scavenger hunt event, #6Sunfiltered. Four teams. Three hours. Countless unfiltered fun to photograph. Each of the teams had access to an Instagram account to upload their photos from the master checklist. The team with the most points by the deadline was awarded an evening of dinner and drinks for their hustle and teamwork. A few interesting items from this year’s checklist included taking a team photo with:
- firefighter gear on (bonus points for every piece of gear worn)
- all team members inside a co-op car (bonus points for it being a BCAA Evo car #clientlove)
- a city fountain (bonus points for every team member in the fountain)
A few years ago, we had our first photo scavenger hunt. Hilarity ensued, and we have the pictures to prove it.
It’s been a busy first half of 2015 for 6S. As such, it felt great to spend an afternoon enjoying Vancouver’s great outdoors, while getting to know some of our newest team additions and snapping up lasting photographs. For a look into the event, check out the #6Sunfiltered hashtag on Instagram.
