Previously at Yellow Pages, Tyler was the top Media Account Consultant in the eastern region for overall net gain and net new business dollar amount. He has coached and led a team of 10 sales representatives on SEM, SEO, Facebook, and retargeting solutions.
Coming from a strong background in web development and marketing, Tyler is well equipped to help businesses map out their future digital marketing strategies. He prides himself on thinking outside the box providing holistic solutions to solving even the most complex media roadblocks.

In an effort to get to know Tyler better, we asked him a few questions about his job and where he sees the industry going.
What do you love most about your job?
I love seeing a digital strategy come to fruition. Having our solutions meet and exceed our clients’ targets really gives me pride in what I do.
What advice would you give to an aspiring digital marketer?
The motto Win or Learn is something we live by at 6S Marketing and I feel it definitely holds true in this industry. Understanding your knowledge gaps will be your biggest asset and possessing the work ethic to bridge them will make you stand out from the crowd.
Lead generation is a constant focus for many B2B businesses in Toronto. Where does digital marketing fit into this aspect of revenue generation?
Before leads can be generated we must understand not only the customer journey but also the prospective customer personas. We have a process that starts with a detailed discovery and will perform workshops with our clients to understand their ideal customers better.
We plan to deliver content to customers at different stages in the sales funnel so that by the time that they contact you, they have had multiple touch points and are better qualified.
We gather meaningful quantitative and qualitative data about a company’s consumer, making lead generation considerably more effective once you understand your customer and what factors affect their decision making at each stage during the buyer’s journey.
What’s the next big thing?
The robots are coming, the robots are coming! Actually, they are already here and they are here to stay. What I am referring to is Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning in advertising. As our campaigns get more sophisticated we are able to truly learn from our prospects and customers and deliver dynamic ads that are based on data-driven marketing information.
