Today Facebook launched a new advertising feature called Interests Targeting which is an expansion of their already very good demographic and geographic targeting. This added functionality opens up a new dimension of advertising options that has been missing from Facebook’s repertoire. Advertisers can now narrow down their target audience even further which should result in higher click through rates on ads and a lower cost per acquisition.
