Historic Downtown Vancouver Office Space for Rent

As part of our continued success story 6S Marketing and Drive Digital have recently purchased a new 10,000+ sq. ft. office located at 550 Beatty in Vancouver. The massive space has more square footage than we need and so we are on the hunt for a like-minded company to sub-lease a 2,700 sq. ft., fully separate unit at 554 Beatty Street.

Located in what’s now known as the “The Five Fifty” building, the office is housed in a 112-year-old warehouse that was the first heritage building in Vancouver to be converted into residential and commercial usage.

Conceived by Robert A. (Bob) MacIntyre and Bruno Freschi in the early 1980s, this converted warehouse stands as one of Vancouver’s most prestigious New York-style loft buildings. Boasting exposed granite, Douglas Fir beams, and 16 ft. ceilings – it’s a stunning space that has played a key role in the city’s history over the years.

Now we’re looking to add a new chapter to its story with a like-minded business that can be our friendly neighbour.

About the Space

Ideally located just steps away from transit and restaurants, this is a unique space that you don’t find in Vancouver very often.

It’s just a 30-second walk to the Stadium SkyTrain station. Closer still are some of Vancouver’s best-loved establishments including Chambar Restaurant and Jam Cafe, alongside The Dirty Apron and the much-loved Kalev Fitness.

We have recently received permits from the City of Vancouver and will soon start a complete renovation of the space. As we are in the reno stage, we do have the option to make some minor tweaks and customize the office for the right tenant.

Some of the specifics of the new space include::

  • Move in date of June 1st, 2018 or July 1st, 2018
  • Location, location, location. We are located downtown, at the Stadium Station near some of Vancouver’s best restaurants including Chambar, Jam Cafe, and Dirty Apron Cafe.
  • 2,700 square feet of separate office space.
  • New kitchen
  • 4 private offices
  • 4 bathrooms
  • access to NYC style rooftop patio with lounge furniture and BBQ
  • access to the private rootop tennis court and basketball hoop on top of the parking garage across the street
  • Looking for a 2-3 year lease
  • Renovations of the space will be underway shortly, able to make customizations for the right fit
