Jenn Lowther, Director of Social Media at 6S Marketing has come out with an article on the Top Four Trends in Social Media. “We’re living in an age of a perfect storm of technology and societal change” states Jenn ” increasingly, people are turning to social expression and interaction online versus more traditional venues for idea sharing and chatter.”

    Jenn, your article was very insightful and thought provoking. I am curious to know how 6S clients have incorporated social media in their marketing strategy and what kind of results they have seen. In my limited experience, engaging visitors from sites such as Facebook to transact has proved challenging. It leads me to believe that organizations will need to adopt unconventional means to see any real success from this medium. There are however success stories such as what Dell has been able to do with Twitter and the Direct2Dell blog. Thanks Jenn.
