Social Media Stats in Google Analytics!
There’s something new and shiny in Google Analytics today! For those of you out there that have the SEO Site Tools plug-in for Chrome you may have noticed a nice addition to your Content Detail Reports in Analytics – Social Media stats!
We’re getting one step closer to measuring the social web and its impact on your website’s performance!
This update includes some pretty interesting stats regarding Social Media buzz surrounding your content:
- Tweets
- Diggs
- del.icou.s Bookmarks
- Shares, Likes and Comments on Facebook
These tidbits of data are a great addition to engagement metrics you can get from other blog analytics tools (we like Post Rank).
While these stats are not perfect, they do give you some pretty cool insight into how popular your content is.
