For months, rumors have been circling about a paid search partnership deal between Google and Yahoo. This deal was likely set up to offset the pressures Yahoo was “feeling” from both Microsoft and Yahoo shareholders wanting a Microsoft take-over. It sounds like today, the deal simply won’t happen because of the US Justice Department wanting concessions that both search engines don’t like.
