Highlights of the Google Partners Launch Event in Toronto

Something exciting happened on May 30th — the Google Partners Launch Event in Toronto! It was especially exciting for 6S, as our president and co-founder Chris Breikss had been invited as one of the guest speakers and resident Google Experts. The event celebrated the launch of the new Google Partners Program, which promises useful new changes for agency-based platforms. See our Google Partners page here.

Chris shared insights into 6S’s use of Google tools and our position in the digital marketing realm as a whole. From business growth strategies to tips on CRM software, lead nurturing and company culture, it was a great way to showcase 6S’s success to fellow industry members. There was also a Q&A session, giving audience members the opportunity to ask panelists questions about expanding their own skills.

The event also provided much information on the new Google Partners Program. The program has amalgamated the various existing partner/agency programs: Google Engage, Google Certified Partners, Google Partner Search, and Agency Edge. Now, you have a singular platform to manage your qualifications — best of all, it’s accessible on laptops, tablets and smartphones. There’s also search functionality for clients to find a Google Partner in close proximity to them. The new Partners program used Canada exlusively as their beta launch — a great step forward for our country’s burgeoning tech industry.
