Chris focuses his time on business development and leading the sales and marketing team at 6S. He also heads up research and development and creation of new digital marketing products. Chris is a frequent public speaker and has instructed on mobile marketing at the University of British Columbia. He volunteers in his local community as a board member on the Yaletown BIA, as well as numerous charitable events, raising more than $100,000 in the last 5 years.
A graduate of UBC’s Sauder School of Business, John co-founded 6S Marketing in 2000, leading the Operations, HR and Finance departments to success. John believes in helping people: whether that’s helping employees achieve their goals, helping clients understand the Internet, or volunteering. He devotes much of his time to North Shore Search and Rescue—an experienced long-liner, he’s regularly featured in local media and was awarded a Unit Commendation for Bravery from the RCMP.
Lyn started her career in the UK, in interactive design and development. These roots facilitate a technical approach to marketing and web analytics that is second to none. Formerly a key strategist at 6S, Lyn is now focused on business development in Western Canada. Her competitive nature also translates to the golf course, where she can often be found beating the company president or any client up for the challenge.
Born and raised in the Lower Mainland, Raelene joined 6S Marketing in 2007. As Operations Manager, she oversees a team of Account Managers and advises clients such as 1-800-Got-Junk?, The Canadian Tourism Commission and Vega on their web analytics measurement strategies. She holds an Honours Diploma of Technology in Marketing Management from BCIT. Outside of work, Raelene loves baking, snowboarding and her bulldog Winston.
Simon joined 6S Marketing in 2008 as a Senior Account Manager. He was responsible for managing the initiatives of larger national clients such as MEC and the Official Vancouver 2010 Olympic Store. Originally from the UK, he got his start in internet marketing in 1999 while working for an online PR agency. Since then he’s moved countries, got married and adopted our office dog, but the internet has always been there for him.
Originally from Toronto, Lisa joined 6S Marketing as an Account Manager in 2011. With expertise in analytics and search engine optimization, she managed initiatives for clients such as HSBC Canada and United Way. She holds a Journalism degree from Curtin University, Australia. Outside of work, Lisa loves cooking, running and snowboarding.
Ed's expertise lies in technical SEO, but he also manages large advertising accounts for clients and is involved in numerous analytics and usability projects. Ed leads 6S Marketing’s internal SEO committee and is a regular contributor to the 6S Blog. Originally from Ireland, Ed worked for Yahoo! Search Marketing in Dublin, and also in several eLearning companies. When he’s not focused on Internet Marketing and SEO, Ed enjoys rugby and soccer, and is a big fan of Vancouver’s craft beer industry.
Beginning her career in New York gave Lauren a resilient foundation which she continues to build upon. Lauren joined the 6S team in 2008 and has not looked back. An athlete by nature, she has no fear and is dynamic and driven. Lauren brings a strong direction and a solution-based approach to our team, two key components in developing long-term relationships with those around her.
Kristen began her marketing career in a traditional agency. After two years, she discovered that her passion was in the digital realm. Starting at 6S as a Strategist, Kristen developed skills in website optimization, analytics, advertising, and content strategy creation. It was a natural transition into the Account Executive role, where she now builds digital marketing strategies. Outside of the office, Kristen spends time running with her dog and filling her Pinterest closet.
Ryan has experience managing national accounts for Mazda, Nestle, and Air Canada. He holds two degrees from the University of Windsor: a B.A. in Communications and a B.Comm in Marketing. Ryan’s strategic marketing background allow him to take a holistic approach in finding result-driven solutions to clients’ business problems. Ryan is a avid sports enthusiast; having played varsity baseball and football in university, he lives an active lifestyle and is constantly pushing himself to try new things.
